Pride Celebrations
We work with Small Town Pride Connecticut and East Hampton Pride to host joyful Pride celebrations each June. Learn more & join us for the next one!
Juneteenth
CoDE partners with many people each year to bring educational, moving, and remarkable Juneteenth events to the community.
The Human Library®
We are excited to host The Human Library on Saturday, October 17 from 10am – 2pm at the Marlborough Congregational Church.
Multicultural Book Drive
CoDE’s Multicultural Book Drive helps to enhance and expand library collections with an emphasis on stories that portray children and young adults from around the world and that represent diversity within the United States.
Book Discussions
CoDE hosts regular book discussions and author events, featuring prescient books on diversity, equity, and housing.
Multicultural School Assemblies
Interested in working with CoDE to bring a multicultural event to your school? Students can learn about history, dances, and more from other cultures.
Martin Luther King Day
Each year, we host an event to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Our most recent event featured an incredibly moving reading of Julius Lester’s book, Day of Tears.
