Join us for our fourth annual Juneteenth Celebration in Hebron on Sunday, June 22nd! This year, we’re partnering with St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, the Town of Hebron, and the Peters family for a multi-faceted celebration of Black freedom and culture.
Come for a part or all of the event festivities!
We’ll gather in St. Peter’s Church (30 Church Street in Hebron) for a service led by Father Ron Kolanowski with music provided entirely by members of the Peters family, descendants of formerly enslaved resident of Hebron, Cesar Peters.
Following the service, we’ll meet behind the church for a dedication of a stone in memory of formerly enslaved residents of Hebron.
And beginning at 11:30am, we have our Juneteenth Celebration in the Parish Hall, with music, poetry and soul food, and activities for the kids.
We’re grateful for the partnerships and for the support from the community!
