In a collaboration with the Marlborough PTO, four sets of multi-ethnic dolls were donated to the preschool classrooms at Elmer Thienes-Mary Hall Elementary School. The idea was suggested by members of the Marlborough Team of CoDE, and heartily embraced by the PTO, who paid for the dolls. The four-pack includes one doll of each of these ethnicities: African American, Asian, Caucasian and Hispanic.
Children will be able to play with dolls that look like themselves and look like children they go to school with, play with and meet in and out of their community.
